How does it work?
The calcium chloride refill tab absorbs moisture from the air and dissolves into a saline solution that collects in the reservoir below. When the tab is fully dissolved, simply replace with a new refill.
How long does a refill last?
Typically 4–12 weeks depending on humidity levels in the room. High-moisture areas like bathrooms or caravans will exhaust refills faster.
Where should I place it?
Place in the most humid area of the room — near windows, in wardrobes, under stairs, or in corners where damp is most prevalent. Ensure it is on a stable, level surface.
Is it safe to use around children and pets?
Keep out of reach of children and pets. The calcium chloride solution that collects is a saline liquid and should not be ingested. Dispose of collected liquid safely down a drain.
When should I empty the reservoir?
Empty when the reservoir reaches the fill line. Do not allow it to overflow. Dispose of the liquid down a household drain.
