Cover two different household hazards with the Kidde KCOSAC Essential Alarm Pack. This white alarm set includes a separate carbon monoxide alarm and optical smoke alarm, with alkaline batteries supplied for both.

  • Two alarms in one pack: includes a Kidde 5CO carbon monoxide alarm and a Kidde 29HD optical smoke alarm.
  • Carbon monoxide monitoring: the 5CO continuously monitors carbon monoxide levels and has a 7-year sensor.
  • Optical smoke detection: the 29HD uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke.
  • Battery-operated convenience: both alarms run on batteries rather than a mains power connection.
  • Batteries included: supplied with the alkaline batteries needed to power both alarms.
  • White finish: a neutral colour for your home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get one combined alarm or two separate alarms?
You receive two separate alarms: a 5CO carbon monoxide alarm and a 29HD optical smoke alarm.

Do I need to buy batteries separately?
No. Alkaline batteries are supplied for both alarms.

Do these alarms need a mains power connection?
No. Both alarms are battery-operated. Follow the supplied instructions for installation and positioning.

What does the 7-year sensor life refer to?
It refers to the sensor in the 5CO carbon monoxide alarm, not to the battery life or the smoke alarm's lifespan. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for battery changes and alarm replacement.

How does the smoke alarm detect smoke?
The 29HD uses an optical, also called photoelectric, sensor.

Where should I fit the alarms?
Follow the positioning and installation instructions supplied with each alarm. The two alarms detect different hazards and may need different positions.
