Frequently Asked Questions

Why use a tester?
Colours look different in daylight, under lamps and next to your furniture. A test patch lets you see the real result before buying the full amount.

How big a patch should I paint?
Paint at least an A4-sized area, ideally on two different walls, and give it two coats for a true colour.

Will the colour match the full tin?
Yes – the tester is the same Soft Sheen paint, tinted to the same formula.

What does "B base" mean?
It's the base paint we tint to your colour. Just tell us the shade you want and we'll use the right base.
