Questions Customers Ask
Will this fit my lantern torch?
It is the standard 996 lantern size with two spring contacts on top. Check that your lamp takes a 6 volt 996 battery and has the same spring terminals.
Is it rechargeable?
No. This is a single use zinc-carbon battery, so it should not be recharged.
Does it contain mercury or cadmium?
No. It is made without mercury or cadmium to reduce its environmental impact.
How do I fit it?
The two spring contacts sit on the top of the battery, so it drops in and connects without tools.
How should I dispose of it?
Take spent batteries to a battery recycling point rather than putting them in household waste.
Zinc-carbon composition. Contains no mercury or cadmium.
