Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Medium base" mean?
It's the base paint we tint to your chosen Dulux colour. Light bases are used for paler shades, and Medium, Deep and Extra Deep for stronger colours – just tell us your colour and we'll use the right one.
How much will I need?
With two coats, this 2.5L tin covers roughly 20m² of wall. Rough or porous walls will use more. Measure the height and width of each wall, multiply, and add them together.
When is the best time to paint outside?
Choose a dry day and avoid painting if rain or frost is forecast. Drying takes much longer in cold, damp conditions.
Will it stop mould on my walls?
It contains an active ingredient that inhibits mould and algae on the paint film. Clean and treat any existing growth before painting.
Always read the label before use. Available in store at Skibbereen & Bantry. We deliver to Cork City and West Cork.
Water-based exterior masonry paint. VOC content: low. Store in a cool, dry place away from frost and dispose of empty tins in line with local authority guidelines. Refer to the safety data sheet for full details.
