Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Deep base" mean?
It's the base paint we tint to your chosen Dulux colour. Light bases are used for paler shades, and Medium, Deep and Extra Deep for stronger colours – just tell us your colour and we'll use the right one.
How much will I need?
With one coat, this 1L tin covers roughly 17m². As a guide, a standard internal door (both sides) is about 3.2m².
What topcoat should I use?
Finish with Dulux Trade High Gloss. Tinting the undercoat close to your topcoat colour gives the best result.
How do I clean my brushes?
As it's solvent-based, clean brushes with white spirit or brush cleaner.
