Frequently Asked Questions

Raw or boiled linseed oil?
Use raw for oak. It dries more slowly, so it has time to penetrate dense timber. Boiled Linseed Oil dries faster and suits other bare woods, but isn't recommended for oak.

Will it leave a shiny coat?
No. It soaks in and leaves little or no surface coating.

Is it water resistant?
Yes.
