Frequently Asked Questions

How much do I need?
On smooth planed wood, 1 litre covers about 10 to 12m² by brush or 4 to 5m² by spray. Rough-sawn wood such as fence panels absorbs more, about 3 to 5m² per litre by brush. You'll need at least two coats.

Do I need to prepare bare wood?
Yes. Pre-treat bare wood with Cuprinol Wood Preserver Clear before painting. Surfaces should be clean and dry.

When can I paint?
In dry conditions above 5°C, when rain isn't forecast.

Will it match the colour card exactly?
The final colour varies with the surface and number of coats, so test a small area first.
