Frequently Asked Questions
What size furniture do 28mm pads suit?
28mm pads are ideal for smaller furniture legs — dining chairs, bar stools, occasional tables, and bedroom furniture. For larger legs, check our 47mm size.
Will they stay on over time?
The self-adhesive backing provides a firm, long-lasting bond on clean, dry surfaces. Replace when the felt wears thin or the adhesive weakens.
How do I apply them correctly?
Clean the base of the furniture leg thoroughly to remove dust and grease, peel the backing, press firmly for 10–15 seconds, and allow a few hours before moving the furniture.
Are they safe for all floor types?
Yes — felt pads are safe on hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, tile, stone, and vinyl floors. Particularly recommended for solid hardwood floors which are prone to fine scratching.
How often should I replace them?
Replace when the felt becomes compressed, worn, or the adhesive no longer holds. High-use chairs may need replacing every 6–12 months.
