Frequently Asked Questions
What style of room does it suit?
The black ball base and oatmeal shade is a versatile combination that works well in contemporary, Scandi, industrial, and transitional interiors. It pairs particularly well with neutral colour schemes, natural textures like linen and wood, and dark accent furniture.
What bulb does it take?
Check the product label for the bulb fitting and maximum wattage. Most floor lamps use an ES (E27) screw bulb. An LED bulb is recommended for energy efficiency and to keep the shade cool during extended use.
Is it suitable for a bedroom?
Yes — a floor lamp is a great alternative to a bedside lamp in a bedroom, particularly if you prefer reading in a chair or want to avoid using a table lamp on a small bedside table. The oatmeal shade gives a warm, relaxing light quality.
How tall is it?
Check the product specifications for exact height — floor lamps typically stand between 140–165cm tall. The height ensures the shade sits at eye level or above when seated, preventing glare.
Is it stable?
The ball base provides a low centre of gravity for good stability. Position on a flat, level surface away from high-traffic areas to reduce the risk of knocking.
Black painted metal or resin ball base. Oatmeal fabric drum shade. ES (E27) bulb fitting — bulb not included.
