Do I need oil or butter with the non-stick?
Very little, and often none at all. That is the point of the coating, and it makes for lighter cooking and an easier wash up.
Can the pans go in the oven?
The handles are described as oven-friendly and are securely riveted. Check the temperature limit on the packaging before using them in a hot oven, particularly with the glass lids on.
Why are the lids vented?
The vent lets steam escape so pots are less likely to boil over, and the glass means you can keep an eye on things without lifting the lid and losing heat.
Will the coating scratch?
It is built with strong scratch resistance, but like any non-stick it lasts longest with wooden or silicone utensils rather than metal ones.
What sizes are in the set?
