Frequently Asked Questions

Which size do I need?
Measure the width of the channel your old rope sits in, or check your stove manual.

How do I fit it?
Remove the old rope and adhesive, apply stove rope adhesive into the channel, then press the new rope firmly in. See Hotspot Heatbond Stove Rope Fixative.

How do I know it needs replacing?
If the door no longer closes tightly, the fire is harder to control, or the rope looks flattened or frayed.
