What gaps is it designed to seal?
The Exitex P Strip seals the gap between a closing door or window and its frame. It compresses as the door closes and rebounds when it opens, providing a continuous, flexible seal. It is not designed for sealing fixed gaps in walls or around pipe penetrations.

How do I apply it?
Clean the frame surface thoroughly to remove dust, grease, and old adhesive residue. Cut the strip to length with scissors. Peel the backing and press firmly along the door or window frame stop, ensuring the foam sits in the gap where the door closes against the frame. Press for 30 seconds and allow the adhesive to cure before use.

How long will it last?
Self-adhesive foam strips typically last 2–5 years depending on exposure conditions. Replace when the foam becomes compressed, hardened, or the adhesive fails — remove the old strip and clean the surface before applying a new one.

Will it work on white uPVC frames?
Yes — the self-adhesive backing bonds to clean uPVC, timber, and aluminium frames. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from silicone or wax before applying.

Which colour should I choose?
Choose white for white uPVC or white-painted timber frames, and brown for timber or brown uPVC frames. Both colours are available in the Exitex P Strip range.
